This ski jacket offers a range of technical features: waterproof membrane, warm, stretch component, and great breathability thanks to ventilation zippers.
Already being overtaken by your little champion on the slopes? We have harnessed our expertise to create this jacket so that they can flourish on their skis.
Padding thermal insulation
Thermal insulation will keep young skiers at the right temperature, neither too hot nor too cold. The garment adapts to the body’s physical activity and to the outside environment. Wedze usesfill for insulation to keep the body warm. The fill is a synthetic component made from polyester, which stores more or less air, depending on the length of the fibers. The thicker the fill, the more air it contains and the warmer it is.
Membrane
The membrane is a very fine component applied to the inner surface of the jacket’s outer fabric. This hydrophilic component prevents water from seeping in (snow, rain, etc.) while allowing the perspiration produced by the body to escape.
Fully taped seams
In addition to using a waterproof fabric, we have made this jacket even more watertight by taping the seams. Its adhesive and waterproof strips are affixed on all the seams of the product, inside the jacket, to make it perfectly watertight and guarantee complete water-resistance.
Ventilation zippers
Ventilation zipper openings. These allow you to modulate air circulation to better manage moisture evacuation as kids exercise and rest during their day of skiing. This jacket has ventilation zippers at the front on each side of the zipper.
Durability
Wedzeknows how much energy is expended during a day’s skiing. That’s why we take particular care when choosing all the elements that make up our products to guarantee the best possible resistance.
Snow skirt
The snow skirt is a protective system located at waist level. It closes with press studs at the bottom of the ski jacket. It prevents snow and drafts from entering when practicing winter sports, especially in the event of a fall.
Ski pass pocket
No need to get your ski pass out any longer! Your sleeve has a ski pass pocket so you can access the lifts quickly.
Customization
There’s a label at the top of the lining you can write the kid’s name on to personalize the product. Handy for finding your jacket after ski school, at the nursery, or at school.
How should kids dress to make sure they keep warm on the ski slopes?
To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule: Layer 1 or 2nd skin, to stay dry. Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in. Layer 3 or a protective layer, to protect against bad weather.
