FIVB-approved

This beach volleyball has been designed to meet International Volleyball Federation requirements.
After many tests in use by professional players and in the lab, the Federation recognized and approved the ball’s compliance for use in official international competitions.

This ball meets the official standards for beach volleyball: Weight: Between 9.2 and 9.9 oz
SIZE 5: 25.6″ to 26.4″ circumference

DURABLE DESIGN

This 12-panel ball is hand-stitched for even greater durability.

It is tested in the laboratory, and after 5,000 shots on a cement plate at a speed of 30 mph, it retains its shape, does not puncture, and suffers no damage to its stitching.

We also conduct a temperature chamber test at 151°F for 6.5 h that serves to accelerate the product’s aging and check that its basic features, like its ability to maintain pressure and durability, are consistent both before and after the test.

Water absorption

We test the ball by rotating it continuously in 0.8″ of water for 6 hours. At the end of the test, the ball absorbed no more than 15% of its initial weight.
The SEAM CLOSING process prevents water from seeping in and hides the joint seams between the paneling for even greater durability.

Durable inflation

We chose to use a bladder made from 80% butyl for a more durable inflation.
The counterbalanced bladder guarantees a better trajectory thanks to its uniform distribution of weight.

THE RIGHT PRESSURE

Did you know that a beach volleyball should be less inflated than an indoor volleyball?! We really can’t stress this enough: A well-inflated ball is the key to (or at least a key part of) a great game!
0.18 to 0.22 bars for a beach volleyball / (0.3 bars for a volleyball)
If you don’t have a pump with a pressure gauge, just touch it – it should be very soft and flexible to the touch.

Durability : Hand-sewn PU cover gives the ball excellent durability.

Directional control : A better distribution of weight for a controlled trajectory.

Shape retention : The high-performance bladder made of 80% butyl provides long-lasting inflation.

Waterproof : Limits absorption of water to up to 15% of the ball’s initial weight.
