The Crossrock boot will withstand all of a kid’s adventures. You can take them with you on your hikes with confidence.
Our hiking designers developed these boots for running, climbing, jumping, and playing in the mountains and on all terrains on sunny days
Sole grip
The grip of our soles is certified.
To be awarded the certification, the boots must pass laboratory tests to assess the grip coefficient on different surfaces (smooth, rugged, dry, wet).
To approve these tests, we then have the quality of our soles evaluated in the field, in the mountains, by a panel of kid testers.
Which size should you select?
For hiking, do not hesitate to buy 1 size larger than the usual size to guarantee excellent comfort on the descent and to avoid toes rubbing at the tip of the boot. Tip: Keep your toenails short, and before going downhill at any time, check that your laces are tight enough to stop your feet slipping down toward the front of the boots.
Buying tips
Allow kids to try on both boots, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several styles and sizes if necessary. Check 2 comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying them on. Don’t hesitate to allow them to walk around the store. Gradually start using your boots during your 1st few hiking trips to break them in.
REMOVABLE INSOLE
Removable insole for faster drying. It can also be replaced by an orthopedic insole.
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL APPROACH
Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products.
Today, this product is not eco-designed, but we work every day to make it more responsible: Eco-design, repairability, and durability are at the heart of our development process.
DON’T THROW IT AWAY, FIX IT!
Our products are great solutions for your mountain hikes.
As you progress, they age. Some parts may wear out or break.
For more easily repairing your boots, we provide laces (reference: 8341958) in our stores or online.
Part of our environmental approach at Quechua is making these parts available.
Don’t throw it away, fix it!
